By accessing and using LikeMyPDF ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LikeMyPDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools including but not limited to:
- PDF merging, splitting, and organizing
- PDF compression and optimization
- PDF to image conversion and vice versa
- PDF editing, signing, and annotation
- PDF protection and unlocking
- OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
All processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to your files.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent any security features
- Not use the Service to process illegal or harmful content
- Not interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Ensure you have the right to process any documents you use with our tools
4. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by LikeMyPDF and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without our permission. Your documents remain your property — we claim no rights to any content you process using our tools.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all file types or browsers
We recommend keeping backups of your original files before processing.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LikeMyPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
7. Account Terms
If you create an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information
- You may not share your account with others
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
8. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
